How many Fraxel treatment will I need and how will they spaced?

Clinical studies suggest that on average, an effective treatment regimen is 3 to 5 sessions spaced about 2 to 4 weeks apart. Depending on your condition and schedule, you and the physician may choose to space treatment sessions further apart. Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement usually visible in 2 to 3 months. This time frame and treatment structure allow for healing and the production of new collagen to replace damaged tissue.

Vaginal Tightening

Vaginal Tightening, Dubai

What is Laser Vaginal Tightening?

Since the vaginal wall contains collagen fibres, over time these can stretch and cause the vaginal wall to lose elasticity. This can cause a reduction in enjoyment of sexual intercourse. As well as a normal part of aging, this reduction in elasticity can be increased after child birth. Women may also notice that urinary incontinence occurs. Another consequence of the loss of elasticity in the vagina can be repeat vaginal infections which are debilitating and distressing.

New technology has allowed us to offer a revolutionary technique for tightening the vaginal walls. Using a laser to stimulate collagen growth, it will tighten the vaginal wall, thereby restoring a more youthful feel. It also helps reduce urinary incontinence. In addition, feedback has shown that Laser Vaginal Tightening also helps those that suffer from dryness and recurrent vaginal infections.

  • Is not painful – women who have had the procedure report only a tingle of warmth but no pain.
  • Has no downtime
  • Is a very quick procedure, over in minutes
  • Is proven technology

The treatment provides long lasting improvement in vaginal sensation and control of urinary incontinence. Results generally last from 18 months to 2 years depending on your individual health and pre-existing laxity. Many women will have a maintenance treatment every 12-18 months.

The number of treatments that are required for each individual will vary. This will be determined at your Consultation.

During your consultation with one of our Doctors you will be advised on steps to be taken before and after the procedure and how to maintain the results.

Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal

Tattoo removal is defined as any method of removing a tattoo from the skin. There is a wide range of tattoo removal methods out there including dermabrasion (scrubbing off layers of the skin), TCA (which is an acid which removes layers of skin), excision (cutting the tattoo out) and of course laser (using energy to break down the ink particles.
Laser tattoo removal works by firing laser light into the tattoo which breaks the ink into tiny pieces, these little pieces are easy for the body to absorb. This allows the ink to be removed by the body itself. Laser tattoo removal avoids damaging the skin while removing the tattoo, unlike other tattoo removal methods.
removal.

How does RevLite Work?

TheRevLite laser produces rapid, short pulse widths of energy – this limits the healthy skin’s exposure to heat which makes treatments safe and fast. The resulting effect on the ink is vibration, shattering the target molecules.
Your tattoo will require multiple sessions before it’s fully removed. The amount of sessions or treatments will depend on how large your tattoo is, what sort of ink has been used and the length of time between your sessions.

Does the RevLite treatment hurt?

The feeling of each short pulse is usually described as feeling like the ‘snap’ of a rubber band on the skin.
In the vast majority of cases, having a tattoo removed using the RevLite laser is less painful or at worst – only the same – as having the tattoo done.

How many sessions will I need?

This all depends on the size and type of ink used. As a rough guide a ‘professional’ tattoo will need between 6 and 10 sessions whereas an ‘amateur’ tattoo might only require between 3 and 6.
It’s always best to come and visit for a consultation first – we’ll be able to give you a more accurate idea of the number of sessions required.

OTHER NON SURGICAL TREATMENT

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy is injecting carbon dioxide gas under the skin. The basic concept is that the body doesn’t want CO2 in it, so when it is injected under the skin, the brain senses that somewhere in the body there is a deficit in oxygen, and responds by immediately sending a rush of blood to that area, rich not only in oxygen, but all the goodness that comes along with blood, that aid in wound healing and tissue regeneration.
Carboxytherapy causes vasodilation, regulates the circulation and causes new blood vessel formation. It also improves metabolism, which translates into more efficient elimination of waste products. Blood influx also brings in wound repair factors and growth factors; collagen and elastin production are stimulated.
Basically, injecting more superficially leads to skin rejuvenation (good for wrinkles, scars, acne scars, stretch marks, under eye circles, and overall better feeling and looking, tighter skin), while deeper injection leads to lipolysis (good for treating cellulite and body contouring).
The idea originates in France back in the 1930’s, when it was found that bathing in CO2 rich waters (naturally occurring spas) promoted wound and ulcer healing.

Craboxytherapy for Stretch Marks

Stretch marks or striaedistensae, as they are known technically, are a form of scarring caused by tearing of the dermis. Stretch marks are caused by rapid growth or rapid weight changes, typically associated with pregnancy. They will diminish over time but they do not disappear completely. Stretchmakrs can also be caused by hormonal changes again with pregnancy but also in puberty, pregnancy, bodybuilding, hormone replacement therapy.
Although are a number of treatments for stretch marks including topical treatments and IPL/Laser (which is not suitable for dark skin types), Carboxytherpay is the only treatment that acts on the root cause of the problem. By actually repairing the and rebuilding the collagen matrix carboxytherapy is not only a more permanent solution it is also suitable for the treatment of old and new stretchmarks and can be used on all skin types.

Carboxytherapy for Cellulite

Cellulite refers to the fat bulges on the buttocks and thighs of the overwhelming majority of the female population. Women have developed the ability to build fat in this way over millenian as part of the female body’s strategy of storing fat for pregnancy. Not only do women differ from men in this way, the structure of their skin is different, it is regulated by hormones and the fatty deposits do not respond to excercise and diet in the same way as mens.
Cellulite is caused by damage to the fibrous septae, a layer of connective tissue formed of collagen, between the dermis and the subcutaneous fat. When the fibrous septae is damaged the fat cells are pushed up through the damaged areas giving the skin the definitive dimpled appearance we know as cellulite.

Carboxytherapy for Dark Undereye Circles

Carboxytherapy is really effective treatment for dark circles under the eyes. In the majority of cases these circles are caused by poor blood circulation beneath the lower eyelids, known as vascular pooling.
Injecting carbon dioxide under the skin of the lower eyelid causes circulation to be increased resulting, in a marked improvement in the dark pigmentation. Treatments are short, virtually painless and risk free. The number of treatments required varies between 2 and 6, depending on the nature of the pigmentation and treatments are spaced one week apart.

OTHER NON SURGICAL TREATMENT

VelaShape 3

VelaShape 3

Velashape 3 is the best non-surgical, no-downtime solution to treating problem areas including the arms, back, saddlebags, thighs, bottom, waist, abdomen, flanks and knees. Velashape 3 treatment provides a toning and firming of the skin surface, temporary improvement to the appearance of cellulite and a temporary reduction to the circumference of treated areas. In addition, by increasing local blood circulation it can provide relief from minor aches and muscle spasms.

Velashape 3 is the third generation of the Velashapedevices which has been developed to provide even better results for patients. Unlike other clinics, we will assess your individual needs at your initial consultation and develop a unique treatment plan to give you the very best results. This can include using Velashape in conjunction with other body contouring treatments such as Cooltech, Carboxy therapy Aqualyx to tackle stubborn areas of fatty deposits, therefore providing an all in one body contouring treatment.

The system is safe, effective and FDA approved, combining Infra-red (IR) optical energy, Bipolar Radio frequency (RF), Vacuum Suction with mechanical manipulation technologies. The IR and RF technologies work together to provide dermal and sub-dermal heating. The vacuum and mechanical manipulations improve blood circulation, enhance lymphatic drainage and increase the metabolic rate of the adipose tissue.

The Science Behind VelaShape

Synergistic use of energies:

  • Infrared Light (IR) heats the tissue up to 3mm in depth
  • Bi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) heats tissue up to 15mm in depth
  • Vacuum ensures precise delivery of energy

The combination of Infrared Light and Vacuum coupled with Bi-Polar Radio Frequency causes deep heating of the fat cells (adipocytes), their surrounding connective fibrous septae and the underlying dermal collagen fibers. Efficient heating of the adipocytes is achieved by higher output of the radio frequency. The optimal design of the electrodes and the application of vacuum allows for deeper and faster heat penetration. In turn, this promotes an increase in circulation, lymphatic drainage, cellular metabolism and collagen depositing. Furthermore, it stimulates fibroblast activity and remodels the extracellular matrix bringing skin firmness and a resulting lift effect.

Before your Velashape Treatment

  • Shaving – shave the area to be treated the day before as hair may hinder the smooth movement of the applicator and overheat the treatment area (do not wax).
  • Exfoliation -exfoliate the skin 48hrs before the treatment.
  • Perfumes/Lotions – do not apply to the treatment area.
  • Tanning beds/tanning lotions/creams – do not use 2 weeks prior to or throughout the course of treatments.
  • Drugs – Avoid anticoagulants such as Aspirin throughout the treatment, as anticoagulants increase the possibility of bruising.
  • Heat – During the treatment you will feel suction and heat to the treatment area. The indication that the treatment is working is the point at which you can tolerate no further heat, known as the “end point.”

After your Velashape 3 Treatment
After the treatment your skin may be slightly pink and you will feel heat in the treatment area for approximately 10-30 minutes

OTHER NON SURGICAL TREATMENT

Ematrix

Ematrix

Ematrix is a state of the art needleless radiofrequency machine that performs resurfacing treatments that are suitable for all skin tones. The treatment has minimal down time but has powerful results. The Ematrix is excellent for targeting the following:

  • Acne scarring
  • Stretch marks
  • Skin tightening
  • Skin resurfacing
  • Anti-ageing and reducing fine lines and wrinkles

In essence, the energy from radiofrquency keeps the top layer of the skin intact but produces significant changes below the skin by using heat to stimulate new collagen formation. Recent research shows that this unique technology is the safest resurfacing treatment for darker skin types for acne scarring and skin tightening.

What does the treatments involve?
The eMatrix device allows for customization of the depth of ablation and degree of resurfacing depending on your skin condition. Our Medical Professionals will choose the appropriate treatment program after assessing your skin type and condition. During treatment most patients will experience a warm pricking sensation. Anesthetic cream may be applied to the treatment area 30-45mins beforehand to ensure that the procedure is comfortable. The eMatrix treatment itself usually takes less than 30mins.

What will I notice immediately after treatment?
The treated area will look like mild sunburn for up to 48 hours. Over the next few days as the redness subsides you may be left with grids of red pin-pricks that will slowly fade to brown and then disappear. One of the big advantages of eMatrix over some other ablative treatments is that immediately afterwards it may be covered with tinted creams and cover-up.

When will I see results?
Initially your skin may look refreshed and firmer. However the main benefits of eMatrix will develop gradually over the next 6-8 weeks as new collagen is produced by fibroblast cells deep in the dermis of the skin.

How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments depends on your initial skin condition and the problem being addressed but is typically 1-3 treatment sessions at 4-6 week intervals.

How long will the results last?
Since RF treatment triggers collagen production and tissue remodeling of the dermal matrix, improvements may continue for up to a year from the last session resulting in a gradual and long-lasting enhancement of the skin tone, laxity and texture.
Because eMatrix stimulates new collagen production it is also essential to use collagen-stimulating antioxidants, particularly topical vitamin C and a retinoid or Vitamin A. Our ZO Medical Professionals will advise on suitable products to use from our ZO Range.
